SCOBY
The workshop is held on Thursday the 5th of September 4pm at Caracara Collective’s studio space in Vattuniemi, Lauttasaari. The duration of the workshop is approximately 2 hours.
What to Expect:
The hands-on workshop will explore different techniques of casting and sculpting with pre-grown scoby materials, as well as touch on ways of treating and preserving scoby materials for better durability. Participants will also be able to take home a fresh batch of tea with a mother scoby, to start growing materials at home.

Caracara is an experimental design studio that creates art and design installations and collections using biowaste. They promote sustainable design, envisioning a future without harmful materials and where waste is a resource.
